BIS line-up, West Midland Terrier Society
It’s been a busy time in the show ring.
Last week Palma went to Pontefract, where she won BAVNSC in very good company, then went on to take first place in the Terrier Group. This weekend we have had two shows – both Terrier Societies. These are always the hardest to do well at as they always attract a quality entry.
First we went to West Midland Terrier Society, where Julie Moyes had drawn an entry of 14 – more than we see at some Championship Shows. There were some quality Cesky Terriers present, so I was very pleased when Palma took BOB. I then entered AV Veteran with Gloria, which she also won – this meant I had two dogs in the final line-up for BIS! Judge Ann Bradley short-listed Gloria, then placed her BIS3!
Next day it was off to the Sporting Terrier Association of Yorkshire. Again Palma took BOB, and again Gloria was BV – and again she was short-listed for BIS! We didn’t go any further this time – but still a lovely weekend for the Ridley gang.
